['Sir John Barton's scheme for preventing forgery of Bank of England notes' / John Barton. ca.1819. 1 sheet, bearing fifty engravings, each 1 1/2" square and each of a unique pattern. Sheet originally mounted on piece of linen which bears the title [assigned in 1931?] and "Various combinations of engraved cubes probably done on Lathe with overhead motion & some in dividing Engine".
